Wristies and Goddess-Work in Progress Wedesday
Are you one of those who always has several projects going on? I am. I started making wristies for my daughter with a combination of two luscious yarns. Both are wool from my stash.
I like knitting in the round so there are no seams to deal with. It is harder to knit with wool in the summer so this has been in the basket for awhile.
I am two thirds of the way through the goddess pattern I wrote about last week. Her head is stuffed but not her body yet.
She does not look goddessy yet but soon!

Such beautiful yarns and you are making nice progress--good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sara, I am not a quilter but my neighbor is and I have been to some large quilt shows and WOW. What a lot of work. Good luck to you too!
DeleteI love the yarn, both the fiber and the colors. I'm also really liking that goddess.
ReplyDeleteYeah!!!
DeleteHahaha... she looks pretty well endowed to me. Great work you do.
ReplyDeleteI had the same thought as you as I was knitting. I'm thinking that when I stuff her it will look more like the designers picture.
DeleteCan't wait to see the finished goddess!
ReplyDeleteMe too, thanks for coming by!
DeleteI have a soap mold of the Goddess of Willendorf. A comforting shape she has. Love the wristies too. :)
ReplyDeletei have stalled on the wristies but when the weather turns cooler I will restart. it has been very humid here in NH.
DeleteNice to see the goddess is progressing. She is beautiful!
